Amy is currently directing the workshop process of a new musical about the life of Ed Gein, a serial killer from Wisconsin, with book and lyrics by Steve Nicholas and music by Elliot Sneider.
Gein was the real life inspiration for such fictional characters as Norman Bates from "Psycho", Buffalo Bill from "Silence of the Lambs" and Leatherface from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
